Dr. Amani Zahran emerged as the central creative force behind the exhibition “Magic of Art”, held at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, where her role extended far beyond organization into shaping a cohesive artistic vision that brought together diverse identities under one creative roof.
As a visual artist, art critic, and founder of the international art collective Basmat Fan, Dr. Zahran served as the exhibition’s curator (commissaire), orchestrating a rich visual dialogue among more than fifty artists from Egypt and across the Arab world.
Her curatorial approach reflected a deep awareness of art’s cultural and human dimensions, transforming the exhibition into a platform for cross-border artistic exchange rather than a mere display of artworks.
Dr. Zahran also participated with her own artwork, “The Oud Player”, which added an intimate, emotional layer to the exhibition.
