Jannah Mostafa says:\u201cI like to introduce myself through everything I\u2019ve learned and practiced\u2014content creator, media personality, influencer, TV presenter, and actress. But today, I prefer to introduce myself as a director. That is my true specialization, especially in advertising. As for the other fields, I am naturally talented in them and give each one my full energy, which is why I can be all of those things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When did you realize that the media world was your true path?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom the moment I started working, I realized the exhaustion I felt wasn\u2019t fatigue\u2014it was passion. I had been working since my freshman year in Mass Communication. I moved between fields: journalism, reporting, even acting\u2014where many people wrote about me and encouraged me. Then I found directing, and I understood that this is where I belong. This is the field I cannot walk away from.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What major challenges did you face?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe field is demanding. You must be everywhere, all the time. There are days when I work over 20 hours, moving between different locations, standing for long hours. It\u2019s a beautiful field, but tough\u2014full of details and mentally and physically challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had many stages, each contributing something meaningful. But the most important achievement for me is becoming recognized in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I walk into locations, and people already know me\u2014cinematographers, models, media students who tell me: \u2018You inspired me to pursue this field.\u2019 That is the greatest honor\u2014knowing that I\u2019ve encouraged others.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who has influenced you the most?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not one person. Every actor, director, cinematographer, and writer I\u2019ve worked with has left a mark. Each one taught me something essential along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did the agency begin, and why the name \u201cWojod\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe agency is only four to five months old, yet\u2014thankfully\u2014it has already gained remarkable traction. I\u2019ve worked in advertising for many years, and clients trusted my experience. They began approaching me for filming, directing, and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, I once created campaigns for a woman whose clothing factory was about to close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the campaigns, the factory revived, workers returned, her daughter didn\u2019t have to change schools, and elderly women regained their income. That\u2019s when I realized that my presence truly mattered\u2014and that\u2019s how the name was born.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And your podcast, also named \u201cWojod\u201d\u2026 what does it mean to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt extends the same philosophy\u2014helping people discover their unique presence, their value, and the impact only they can make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is your approach when dealing with clients?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy first thought is always: how can I genuinely benefit the client? How can I make them feel their presence? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never tire of working\u2014I love what I do, and I give it everything. In one recent project, I filmed for 20 continuous hours. The client told me, \u2018I\u2019m exhausted and you\u2019re still full of energy.\u2019I\u2019m also flexible with budgets. I tell clients the average cost and let them choose what works for them. Then we adapt. I always seek balance: the client is satisfied, and the work maintains its value.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What are your future plans for Wojod Media Pro?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want it to become the largest media agency in the Middle East, God willing. I don\u2019t work with products that disappear in two days. I choose projects with real presence and lasting impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you see the role of women today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWomen have advanced greatly in media and content creation. Even in university, most professors were women. Today, many young women in front of the camera are stronger and bolder than many men.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What advice do you give young women entering the field?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBe patient. The field is difficult and requires endurance. I personally worked in freezing weather in Abu El-Nomros and Mansouria, sitting with only a blanket, working long hours. The beginning is exhausting, but it\u2019s worth it. And don\u2019t chase money at first. Rely on whatever small amount you have and learn how to build with it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Behind the Scenes\u2026 The Spirit of the Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many people praise the spirit behind her directing\u2014what sets her style apart?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne editor who worked with me told me he watched one of my ads four times and didn\u2019t notice the product\u2014instead, he was captivated by the directing and the spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have to feel my hand in every detail\u2014from directing to editing. Sometimes I work 20 hours straight on a single edit.My team is loyal\u2014we work like a family. They always tell me their favorite thing about me is that I teach them; I don\u2019t just give orders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally\u2026 what message would you like to send to viewers and clients?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want to tell them:Don\u2019t pressure the people you work with. Don\u2019t drain them. I cannot work on something I don\u2019t love or cannot perfect. And I don\u2019t like being rushed.For me, a project is not just an advertisement\u2014it is a \u2018presence,\u2019 a statement, and an imprint. That is why I immerse myself deeply in every detail.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
