Iman Hany is one of those figures\u2014a woman who transformed her personal challenges into a driving force and built a path that blends professional ambition with deep social commitment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From her years as a top student at the German University in Cairo, through the experience of early motherhood, to her growing involvement in volunteerism and the business community, she has shaped a model of a woman capable of redefining herself, overcoming obstacles, and creating real impact in the lives of others.Her story is not simply a chronology of achievements; it is the journey of a woman who faced separation, personal pressures, and societal expectations, emerging stronger and more determined to pursue her passion for community service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her first steps began within the Youth Committee at El Gezira Sporting Club, eventually expanding into the founding of a new Rotary club, leading long-term development initiatives, and assuming key leadership roles. Through each chapter, she has demonstrated that ambition is not measured by titles, but by the ability to turn every opportunity into action and every act of service into lasting impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A defining moment came when she began accompanying her mother\u2014an active community worker and Treasurer of a Zakat Committee\u2014to various women\u2019s initiatives. What started as simple family involvement quickly grew into personal purpose. She found herself increasingly drawn to public service, discovering in it a space where she belonged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer visits shifted from routine participation to a source of passion and empowerment, making her feel capable of giving and creating change. Simultaneously, the emotional aftermath of her separation fueled a deep resolve to prove her strength\u2014to her daughter, to her family, and above all to herself. \u201cMy biggest challenge,\u201d she often says, \u201cwas proving to myself that I am strong\u2026 and that my daughter can be proud of me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motivated by this inner drive, she became deeply engaged in public work and joined the Youth Committee at El Gezira Sporting Club as an active member. Her enthusiasm, initiative, and strong presence quickly became evident, leading to her appointment only months later as Rapporteur of the committee in 2015. Over four years, she carried significant organizational and leadership responsibilities, launching youth and social initiatives that reflected her belief that leadership is about inspiring others\u2014not simply holding a position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this time, her mother was already active in Rotary, opening the door for Iman to explore a larger arena.Upon joining Rotary, she discovered that the club she entered was nearly inactive. Instead of stepping back, she decided to rebuild from the ground up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She founded \u201cRotary Giza Sporting\u201d within the club, establishing a dynamic entity capable of serving members, workers, and the wider community through meaningful initiatives. Over time, the club became a model of active engagement, offering medical convoys, health and education programs, school support, water and sanitation projects, social visits, and literacy campaigns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She often says: \u201cThe value of Rotary isn\u2019t just in serving\u2026 it\u2019s in serving with your own hands and witnessing the impact yourself.\u201dThese efforts were not isolated activities, but part of a long-term strategy focused on one village: Meniel Al-Sultan in Atfih, Giza. The club committed to supporting the village comprehensively, following every detail closely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They installed water connections, repaired sewage systems, renovated homes, established a women\u2019s workshop for economic empowerment, carried out recurring medical convoys, developed schools, upgraded a sports field, and opened a literacy center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three years of continuous work turned the experience into a clear example of how meaningful community service is measured by depth, continuity, and sustained impact.As her contributions grew, Iman joined the Egyptian Junior Business Association, entering a domain that combined economics, consulting, and information technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She soon became Vice President of the Consulting and IT Committee\u2014a role that reflects professional confidence in her capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also became the youngest Assistant Governor of Rotary District 2451, a position that demanded extensive effort, constant engagement, and participation in numerous activities. Her presence and active involvement drew multiple official invitations to conferences and public events, highlighting her growing visibility within the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her most recent step was entering the political arena. The National Front Party appointed her Secretary-General of the Central Entrepreneurship Secretariat\u2014a role she sees as a natural extension of her mission to support youth and women. For her, entrepreneurship is not merely economic initiatives, but a pathway to empowerment and improving lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe road is long,\u201d she says, \u201cbut it\u2019s worth it\u2026 and I\u2019m ready for it.\u201dDespite her expanding responsibilities, her inner compass remains steady. She openly acknowledges her aspiration to become a minister one day, yet she consistently affirms: \u201cI don\u2019t seek a position for myself\u2026 I truly want to serve people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While balancing her roles as a mother, leader, and working woman, her daughter and mother remain her constant motivation, while her father stands as her strongest supporter\u2014the foundation behind every step she takes, proving her ability to rise regardless of the challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
