The story traces back to a very distant time, specifically to 1890. At that time, my grandfather worked as a Fatatri (pie maker) on Khalig al-Masri Street, which was one of the most prominent old streets of Cairo before it was eventually demolished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the story didn’t end there; it moved and evolved until it settled in “Souq al-Garaya” in the Bab al-Shariya district before its removal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
