Nadia Ramzy… When Luxury Becomes a Message, Passion Turns into Knowledge, and Lavish Is Born

Cairo – Maii Abdo:

Nadia Ramzy is not just another name in the crowded world of cosmetics, nor merely a businesswoman who decided to launch a beauty brand. She represents a rare case of determination, awareness, and responsibility.

A woman who chose to place her name among the leading figures because she firmly believes that real success is not granted—it is built through patience, knowledge, and relentless effort. Her presence is not based on display or noise, but on the weight of experience. Her decisions are not driven by risk-taking, but by a well-studied vision that respects a woman’s mind before her taste, and values the substance of the product before its shine.

In an era where the cosmetics industry is flooded with similar names and fast-born brands that fade even faster, it is rare for a name to stand out because it truly deserves to. It is even rarer for a brand to impose itself through honesty, depth, and a vision that rejects shortcuts.

Amid this overcrowded scene, Nadia Ramzy emerges as a true exception—not only as the founder of a makeup brand, but as a woman who deliberately chose the harder path: betting on knowledge before exposure, quality before expansion, and humanity before the market.

Nadia Ramzy belongs to that rare category of women who never rely on passion alone, nor feel reassured by raw talent. She believes that a real dream is only complete when supported by education, discipline, and long-term commitment.

This belief led her to spend three full years in specialized studies between the United States and France, exploring the core of the cosmetics industry—formulations, raw material quality, and the philosophy of product development. This journey was not a luxury, but the cornerstone upon which Lavish was built.

Lavish is not merely a brand name; it is the reflection of a clear philosophy and a deeply human vision: enabling every woman to feel luxurious without being exploited, distinguished without excess, and beautiful without compromising quality or intellect.

It is a brand born from a rare equation in today’s market—high quality, elegant packaging, and fair pricing—while maintaining a feminine spirit that speaks to women with respect and awareness. In this interview, we do not approach Nadia Ramzy only as the founder of a successful brand, but as a woman, a mother, a visionary, and the thoughtful mind behind Lavish.

We explore the unseen challenges behind glossy images, the pressures of an unforgiving industry, and an ambition that knows no limits. A conversation that reveals how luxury can become a message, beauty an impact, and a brand a genuine promise to every woman searching for herself before searching for her mirror.

—Away from social media and the makeup world, who is Nadia Ramzy?

I am Nadia Ramzy. I spent my childhood and most of my life in the United States, then moved to Egypt. I originally studied Tourism and Hotels Management. I am married and a mother of two—a son and a daughter.

I see myself as a wife, a mother, and a business owner at the same time. I live multiple roles every day, each with its own responsibilities and challenges. I truly believe that a woman can succeed in more than one path if she believes in herself and organizes her priorities well.

What were the biggest challenges you faced when entering the cosmetics industry?

The industry itself is one of the most challenging fields because it leaves no room for error. The biggest challenge is constant pressure—keeping up with social media, fast-changing trends, and fierce competition.

A single small mistake in a product or marketing decision can affect the entire brand’s reputation. Another major challenge is maintaining consistent, high-quality standards across all products, which requires continuous monitoring and enormous effort.

Do you believe your journey in cosmetics was driven by passion blended with education?

Absolutely. Passion alone is never enough. To enter a field like cosmetics manufacturing, I needed to understand every detail.

I studied cosmetology and how to create makeup products for two years in the United States, then completed an additional six-month program in cosmetic product development in France at an academy affiliated with one of the world’s leading beauty brands. The combination of passion and knowledge is what allowed me to build Lavish with confidence and secure its place in the market.

What is the meaning behind the name “Lavish”?

Lavish means luxury. I wanted every woman who uses our products to feel that sense of luxury—not only in the appearance of the product, but in its quality, details, and overall experience. For me, Lavish is a feeling before it is a name.

Is there a “hero product” within the brand?

I don’t believe in relying on just one product. At Lavish, every product is carefully studied and designed to fill a real gap in the market. That’s why our product range isn’t massive, but each product is a “joker” in its category—whether in quality, concept, or price.

Do you export Lavish products internationally?

Yes. Lavish products are available in Egypt, the United States, and several Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. We have also been present in Libya for about a year. Additionally, we ship to customers in various parts of the world and are very open to collaborations and partnerships that help us expand our vision globally.

What is your true ambition in this field?

My ambition is to build a brand known for quality and luxury—one that leaves a real impact on every woman who uses it, not just another commercial name. I always say:“I dream of making every woman not only pretty, but also happier.”

How do you envision Lavish in five years?

I see Lavish as a core brand present in every woman’s life worldwide, with carefully planned expansion while staying true to our original values and vision—so we always remain the first choice.

From your perspective, what truly sets Lavish apart?

A clear vision. Lavish is built on three essential elements that rarely come together: high quality, luxurious packaging, and a fair price. This balance is the soul and foundation of the brand.

How do you balance your personal and professional life?

I don’t have the luxury of wasted time. Every minute of my day is planned. I believe in balance, not perfection. I dedicate time to my work, my home, and my children.

Balance is the secret to sustainability and success.

Every field has its downsides—what are they in cosmetics?

Constant pressure, zero tolerance for mistakes, and the continuous effort required to maintain quality and brand image. This industry demands full focus and high energy at all times.

What is the price of success?

Time, effort, peace of mind, and sometimes personal relationships. But achieving your dream makes it all worthwhile.

A final word—who would you like to address it to?

I would like to thank my husband and partner, Amir Samy, for always being my true support.

His encouragement helped me through the toughest moments. I am proud of every step in the Lavish journey, and I hope every woman who uses our products feels not only more beautiful—but happier.
