Mayar Hegazy: “Media Is Not About Fame… It’s a Message That Comes from the Heart to Reach People”

Cairo – Maii Abdo:

With grace, intellect, and unshakable determination, Mayar Hegazy represents a new generation of women who shape their own stories rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them.

She is a young media personality, entrepreneur, and creative mind who believes that “media isn’t about fame or spotlight — it’s about delivering a message that comes from the heart and reaches people with honesty.”

From her earliest years, Mayar’s passion for storytelling and communication was unmistakable.

While most of her classmates spent their free time enjoying their youth, she spent hers building experience — attending training programs and working in companies during her school years.

After my father passed away,” she recalls softly, “I realized that every girl must be her own support. Strength doesn’t mean hiding your tears — it means standing up again, no matter how many times you fall.”

That realization became the foundation of her journey. Her late father remains her greatest source of inspiration. “My dad always told me: Do what you love, and do it well. His words became a compass that guided me through every decision I made.”

Her path in media began as a dream in front of a mirror, imitating TV presenters with the imagination of a child. But Mayar was never content to leave her dreams in the realm of fantasy.

She turned them into a mission. “People often told me I was too young,” she remembers, “but I believed that patience, discipline, and consistency would eventually make my work speak for itself.”

Her breakthrough came with the television program “Al-Marayaa” (The Mirrors), which gained public attention for its depth and sincerity.

The show offered more than interviews; it reflected people’s inner worlds. “The idea was simple but powerful,” she explains. “To hold up a mirror in front of ourselves — to see our truths without filters or fear.”

Encouraged by its success, Mayar took another bold step with her upcoming program “Dhai” (Light).

“It’s a continuation of my journey,” she says. “This time, we’re tackling social, emotional, and psychological topics — with a special focus on wellness and personal growth.” She chose the title Dhai because of its symbolism. “Light is hope. I want my program to remind people that no matter how dark life seems, there’s always light within us.”

Recently, Mayar joined Al-Nahar TV Channel in a strategic position within the Business Development Department — a move that reflects both her creative ambition and managerial expertise. “The channel has strong goals for growth and transformation,” she says. “I felt it was the right place to contribute my ideas, create partnerships, and learn from great minds.”

She expresses deep appreciation for her mentor, Mr. Mahmoud Salam, the Head of Digital at Al-Nahar, whom she describes as “the first person who taught me the fundamentals of the profession and believed in my abilities from day one.”

For Mayar, Al-Nahar represents more than a workplace — it’s a platform for growth, innovation, and purpose.

Outside television, Mayar’s entrepreneurial side shines brightly through her digital marketing agency, BrandoraEG, a company she founded from scratch. “I started completely alone,” she shares, “but I always believed that hard work and sincerity would open doors. Today, Brandora works with clients inside and outside Egypt — and that’s something I’m deeply proud of.”

Mayar credits her team for the agency’s success. “Every achievement we’ve made is the result of teamwork, effort, and mutual respect. I’m proud of them because together, we’ve built something meaningful.”

She sees media and marketing as two disciplines that go hand in hand: “Media spreads the message, and marketing transforms that message into measurable impact. Both are about people — understanding what moves them and how to reach them.”

Beyond business and broadcasting, Mayar’s creative energy extends to the world of fashion and major events. She has played key roles in high-profile productions such as the Middle East Fashion Show, overseeing marketing and media management.

“That experience showed me how much media shapes every creative industry. Fashion isn’t just about style — it’s a vision that requires storytelling, management, and collaboration.

”Throughout her journey, three values have remained constant: honesty, dedication, and good intentions. “I believe that what comes from the heart always reaches others,” she says. “Real success isn’t built on appearances, but on integrity and purpose.”Even during difficult moments, she finds peace through faith and gratitude. “Every challenge carries a hidden blessing,” she reflects.

“God never takes something from you unless He plans to replace it with something even better.”Looking ahead, Mayar’s dreams are bold yet deeply human. “I want BrandoraEG to become one of the leading marketing companies globally. And I dream of presenting a program that connects with people everywhere — even those who don’t speak my language.

I don’t chase fame; I chase meaning.”To young women aspiring to enter media or entrepreneurship, she offers heartfelt advice: “Start — even if you don’t feel ready. True readiness comes along the way. Believe in yourself, even when nobody else does.”

As she continues her journey, Mayar Hegazy shines with quiet confidence and grounded strength. She proves that femininity is not weakness, and that kindness can coexist with power. She doesn’t just seek personal success — she strives to inspire others to see the light within themselves.

In her story, every step, every challenge, and every success carries a single message: that true strength comes not from fame or position, but from faith, resilience, and the courage to keep shining — no matter how dark the world may seem.
