Sara Abdelaziz… When a Woman Redraws Her Path from the Beginning”

Cairo – Maii Abdo:

Sara Abdelaziz’s journey into the world of education was never planned, nor was it outlined on a clear path. It unfolded step by step, as if destiny gently—and at times forcefully—pushed her toward the field that matched her spirit and true passion.A graduate of the Faculty of Arts, Department of Philosophy, Sara never imagined she would step into teaching.

She began her professional life in the real estate sector, all while dreaming of joining the Film Institute—an ambition that never materialized but planted within her a seed of curiosity, exploration, and creative pursuit. That seed would later bloom into a confident, visionary woman ready to lead her own path. Her opportunity to work in education came unexpectedly.

What seemed at first to be a temporary job quickly evolved into a defining turning point in her life. Starting as a teacher’s assistant, she became an English instructor, then a homeroom teacher, and eventually a stage coordinator.

With each step, she uncovered new layers of her capabilities and realized that the field she entered by coincidence had become a true passion—one she studied, embraced, and excelled in. She completed a Canadian diploma in teaching, earned certifications in the IB system, and moved to Qatar for three years where she gained extensive experience across both teaching and administration. Those years became the solid foundation on which her professional identity was built.

Over time, however, she noticed something deeper: she had become a trusted reference for parents. Her ability to explain the differences between curricula, understand child personalities, and guide families extended far beyond her job description. With a broad network and a sharp understanding of what parents seek and what schools need to communicate, a new question emerged:Why not turn all this knowledge into an independent project?

Why not create a field that bridges schools and families in a more informed and transparent way? This was the beginning of her educational marketing company. She started by forming partnerships with schools—managing their social media platforms, covering events, and developing content that reflected each institution’s true identity.

Backed by her first-hand experience inside classrooms and administrative offices, she intuitively understood what parents needed to see, what teachers aimed to highlight, and how schools wished to present themselves. Very quickly, international schools in Sheikh Zayed began requesting her services by name, recognizing her exceptional ability in this niche field.

In a bold move, she left teaching entirely—despite being a mother of two—devoting herself to her growing venture and trusting that success comes to those willing to step outside their comfort zone.Sara describes the launch of her academic podcast as the moment her project truly came to life.

The podcast created a space where students, teachers, school owners, and mental health experts could sit at the same table and openly discuss the challenges, dynamics, and realities of the educational landscape. Her goal was simple yet ambitious: to deliver a clear, reliable voice into every home and school, and to craft content that could serve as a genuine reference for anyone within the sector.

With her partner handling the financial side, Sara focused entirely on concept development, preparation, and execution, ensuring every episode reflected her insight, calm approach, and deep understanding of education.

From this journey emerged one of her most significant achievements: the School Founder app, the first academic platform in Egypt designed to help parents choose the right school for their children. The idea was born from her own struggles when searching for a school for her daughter. She wanted to create a solution that simplified the overwhelming process for other families.

The app gathers all schools in one comprehensive platform—complete with photos, videos, fees, curricula details, and even the option to book a direct meeting with school management. It also offers access to specialized consultants for parents who need personalized guidance. The app does not merely compile information; it provides context that empowers parents to see the full picture without visiting multiple schools.

To properly launch the app, Sara realized she needed to appear as the face and voice of her project. She began producing educational content on social media, introducing her audience to her ideas, experiences, and new venture. “I had to show myself as a person and as a specialist… People needed to know who was behind the first specialized academic podcast,” she explains.

Her presence soon became an essential part of the project’s identity, a natural extension of her professional journey.Today, Sara Abdelaziz is not just an educational consultant—she is the story of a woman who reshaped her life with clarity, courage, and patience. Her journey is more than a success story; it is a testament to the belief that paths are built step by step, and that true passion often emerges from the places we never expected.
