Each year, with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the spirit of social solidarity shines brightly across Egyptian society.
“Matbakh Masr” continues to stand out as one of the country’s leading charitable initiatives, marking its seventh consecutive year of service and presenting a distinguished model of well-organized volunteer work.
This ongoing success is achieved through close cooperation with key partners, including Rotaract Egypt (District 2451) and Crystal Company.
Giving in Numbers
The journey of “Matbakh Masr” this year went far beyond the simple distribution of meals.
It reflected a large-scale humanitarian effort, evident in the impressive figures achieved by the end of Ramadan:
Iftar Meals: More than 20,542 fully prepared Iftar meals distributed.
Suhoor Meals: 173 Suhoor meals provided.Food Boxes: 759 Ramadan food boxes delivered to families most in need.
Reaching Communities Across EgyptActs of goodwill were not confined to a single location.
Instead, “Matbakh Masr” extended its support to multiple areas, with particularly intensive efforts during the second ten days of Ramadan:
Day 11: 2,141 meals distributed in Al-Haraneya, Al-Gabal Al-Asfar, and Wazneen.
Day 12: 2,083 meals distributed in Batn Al-Baqar, Sayyida Zeinab, Al-Haraneya, and Al-Gabal Al-Asfar.
Day 13: 2,085 meals distributed in Al-Ma‘sara, Al-Haraneya, Al-Gabal Al-Asfar, and the Jewish Cemetery area.
Strategic Partnerships Supporting the Mission
“Matbakh Masr” reaffirmed that these achievements would not have been possible without strong partnerships and collective support.
Crystal Company played a central role this year as the official sponsor, with the partnership—supported by Karim Khairat—helping to expand operations and reach a greater number of beneficiaries.
