The event reflected a profound appreciation for one of the Arab world’s most iconic cultural figures, transforming admiration into a refined artistic experience.

According to Dr. Amani Zahran, the exhibition brought together the works of 40 artists from Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Tunisia, and the United States, all united by their admiration and emotional connection to Umm Kulthum.

Each artist interpreted the spirit of the legendary singer in a uniquely personal way, presenting expressive portraits, visual reflections inspired by her unforgettable songs, her orchestra, the musical instruments associated with her performances, and even the accessories that became inseparable from her iconic image.

The exhibition showcased a rich diversity of artistic techniques and mediums, including painting, oil portraiture, photography, decoupage, collage, and wheat straw art, creating a visually immersive experience where heritage met innovation. Every artwork seemed to carry an emotional echo of Umm Kulthum’s voice, reviving memories of her elegance, charisma, and extraordinary presence on stage.

The international dimension of the exhibition further enriched its significance. Participating artists included distinguished names from Kuwait such as Fadila Ayada, Mariam Al-Bisher, Atared Al-Thaqeb, and young artist Badr Al-Farsi.
